I have been wanting a SAMSUNG HDTV for some time now and finally I got one - the LN40A550.
It has one of the clearest pictures I have ever seen on a TV. I am very happy with my choice.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that I have not been able to get the HDMI cable to work with my cablebox and also it took a while for me to get the sizing of my picture right. If I had it in 16:9 ratio, the screen would cut off the edges of the picture and it took a great deal of fiddling to get that to where I am happy.
As for the HDMI - I am still trying to get that right and will keep working on it. Not sure if it is the cablebox but it should be easier to plug these in and diagnose any problems…Read More
